We then have four full days to yoga and exploring the island. Our last day is Wednesday where we will practice yoga in the morning and then after breakfast head back to Hobart.

Traditionally trained Iyengar yoga teacher Craig will lead you through a yoga practice twice a day. What you can expect

  • An emphasis on alignment in asanas - yoga poses

  • A thoughtful use of props

  • An encouragement to practice to your own capacity while being guided to sensitively deal with any injuries, illnesses or conditions you may have; and

Curated Walks

Connection with nature is one of the best ways to put things into perspective, stripping away the noise of the everyday. These walks have been curated to showcase the rugged soul of Bruny Island through a lens of creativity, perspective, and growth. From the towering heights of Fluted Cape to the rugged beauty of Cape Queen Elizabeth, each path invites you to expand your horizons. By moving through these landscapes, we find the mental space to think deeper and reset.

But of course if you just fancy a short walk on the beach and relaxing, that is totally ok by us.

Our walks are optional.

Meals provided will be fresh, nourishing and made with love. Using fresh ingredients from Bruny Island and surrounds. There is no more to think about. Just enjoy!!!!

Local produce

Our retreat is not only for us but the local community. We pride ourselves on supporting the locals as much as we can. Joining us in Bruny Island is helping the local economy.

What a day looks like in Adventure Bay

Each morning we will set off from our accomodation to the Adventure Bay community hall. That by the way over 100 years old. This will be a short journey of about 2 mins along the stunning beach of Adventure Bay.

Morning practice lead by Craig will start at 7 am and run to 8.30am

After practice we will enjoy a buffet breakfast together with YES of course “good coffee”

Here will will pack our lunch for our afternoon adventures. Depending on the walk organised for the day we might jump in the private mini bus and head out to Queen Elizabeth Bay or the Lighthouse walk at Cloudy Bay. Here we will walk and talk, take in the natural environment, stop for lunch, maybe see the endangered 40 spotted pardalote and more. These walks will be suited to all, but to get the most out of the walks you will need a moderate level of fitness

Back to camp for a rest and free time to explore the immediate environment.

Craig will guide us through a restorative yoga practice from 4.30pm-6pm

Dinner lovingly prepared and served in the community hall each evening

Reset and repeat !!!
